Here at Chester Andover Elementary School I tutor children in early reading and work with students in math.  I enjoy teaching students one on one or in small groups.  My goal is to have each child soaring with books and become a lifelong learner.

I am a teacher mentor leaders for the WSWSU.  I have worked on the district reading and writing resource handbook for teachers.  In the past I have coordinated the Windsor County RSVP reading volunteers, Books for Breakfast, Literacy Fun Night, and fundraiser for summer reading packets and backpack activities for the emergent learner.  I have led professional book clubs and workshops.

My family consists of my husband Tom, and my daughter, Chelsea who attends Skidmore College.  My Hartland, Vermont home is surrounded by nature.  I enjoy walking, shopping, our pets, flowers, watching wildlife and summertime campfires.

I earned a master’s degree plus 30 credits.  I enjoy gathering new teaching tricks to help my students!
