Planned Unexcused Absences
Parents must complete and sign a “Non-Attendance Form” for planned unexcused absences of one week or more. This form will become part of the student's permanent record. Excessive absences may result in the retention of the child. With advance notice, the teacher can provide the student with whatever work they have ready prior to the absence. Teachers are not required, however, to provide work prior to the absence.
