In 1998, we determined that we needed to define our teacher expectations and student standards for technology use. Over the course of the next couple of years we developed the following documents.
Standards:
The student standards are based on the National Standards.
In the meantime the State of Vermont has created Grade Expectations for Technology.
Last year we compared the various expectations and created some very grade level simple checklists to use to guide us in planning learning activities which make use of technology.
The NETS revision has not been formally reviewed for incorporation or revision. It has been identified as a valuable resource.
