Our Language Arts program incorporates lots of different modalities of learning with focuses on Reading and Writing that allows for integration of the themes that we are working on. We have been using the Houghton Mifflin Reading progam to help drive our reading and writing instruction. We have literacy centers set up in the room that the students use everyday to help develop and strengthen their literacy skills.
