Sarah Fonseca Grade 2 Email:sfonseca@wswsu.org         Hi!  My name is Sarah Fonseca, a Grade 2 teacher here at Chester Andover.  I graduated from Trinity College of Vermont in December of 1997 with my Bachelor’s of Art in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts.  Currently I am studying for my Master’s with Southern New Hampshire University.         As a teacher it is my goal to provide a challenging and hands on learning environment to meet the various needs of my students.  We do a variety of activities to allow each student to feel successful during the school day.  Our class is known within our school for the dances that we learn and perform at assemblies.         The picture was designed by a student who was asked to draw what learning looks like in our classroom.  His explanation for this drawing “See the things that overlap?  Those are the concepts, and concepts over lap and build on each other and that is how we learn.”  He has shown it to other students and they agree, we have many different colors and themes happening in our classroom everyday and many overlap to create learning.
