I’ve been working with kids since 1995. I've worked with many age groups, ranging from preschool to sixth grade.

One of the things I love most about my job is the potential impact I have on the kids I work with. I feel that education is the single most important thing that anyone can offer a child. The fact that I get to be a part of that education is an honor, a privilege, and a responsibility that I don’t take lightly.

I am very proud to be a part of such a team.

I’ve worked with CAES students in various capacities over the years, both personally and professionally.  Personally I have been a 4H and Girl Scout Leader, soccer coach, and a volunteer reading mentor.  As a CAES employee I’ve joined your children on down hill and cross country skis, snow tubing, and swimming during the winter program.  In addition to those activities, a few different years I’ve joined the students at Camp Keewaydin for a week long environmental experience. Throughout the year, I’ve supervised Homework Club every Tuesday and Thursday after school.  During regular school hours you’ll find me all over the building working as a Special Education Assistant and enjoying the diversity of the many classrooms and their wonderful students.  I feel fortunate to work with such a great group of children and adults throughout the years here at CAES.

I have recently graduated from the University of New York at New Paltz with a degree in Visual Arts.  I grew up in Chester, VT and attended elementary school at Chester-Andover when I was a child.  A year after graduating college I moved back to Chester to be closer to friends and family.  I have been working with children for many years whether it be babysitting, daycare or within the public school system I have always enjoyed my job.  Working with children is a fulfilling experience and I'm very excited to be at Chester- Andover Elementary School this school year.

I enjoy being part of the CAES community.  I was born in Connecticut where I received my Associate's Degree.  I worked in various administrative jobs until I decided to make a change to education.

I moved from Connecticut to Vermont 19 years ago.  It is here that I met my husband.  We live in Chester withour three children.

I am thrilled to be a new member of the educational team at CAES.  I have lived in Vermont for two years and recently relocated to the Southern Vermont area.  I went to the University of Norwich and graduated with a B.S. in physical education.  I have lived in different states and countries and bring all my life experiences with me to CAES.

I received a BA in Elementary Ed from the University of Massachusetts. I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Ed from the University of Bridgeport. I have taught both second and fourth grade in Stamford, CT. I took time off from teaching to have a family and be a stay-at-home mom to my three daughters. Now that they are all in school here at CAES, I have decided to get back into the classroom.

I am sharing a job with Amy Anderson as the Teacher Assistant in Ms. Connor‚Äôs Kindergarten class. I am very excited to be a part of the first job share position here at CAES.  I really delight in working with Ms. Connor and the Kindergarteners.

My husband and I, along with our girls, love to travel, camp, ride bikes, and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities together. I am borderline obsessed with doing crosswords and Sudoku! I also love to bake, although since I started working again, the crock-pot is my favorite kitchen tool!

I have been living in Chester for 17 years and have three children, 23, 17 and 9. I have worked for Head Start the last five years and am now happy to be working for CAES. My true passion is working with children and their families in an educational setting. The satisfaction of seeing children feel excited about learning, having fun and reaching their true potential is wonderful to witness.

I have a CDA for Early Childhood Education and I am enrolled at Union Institute & University to obtain my BA degree in Psychology with a concentration in Early Childhood Development. I am now in my fourth semester. I love learning, gardening, swimming, running and doing yoga. I love spending time with my children on hikes or just talking at the dinner table.
